The New Years fireworks at Taipei 101 are very special. If you go plan ahead. Expect the obvious; huge crowd and a long and difficult commute to and from the area. If you plan ahead and can get a comfortable and unobstructed view it will be a memorable experience. You need to see it live at least once in your lifetime.
Every year the fireworks are different. If you are interested you can check out videos on youtube, just type in Taipei 101 fireworks 20?? (the year you want).
