Qingshan Falls

Qingshan Falls is located in the north part of Yangmingshan Park.  To get there by driving take RT2 to the northern part of the island to Rt 17 which is a rural road and go south about 6.5 km. verify on google maps.

The trail head is readily identifiable.  There is some parking and toilets at the entrance.  I hiked early and there was no one on the trail.  On my way back I passed a number of people heading to the waterfall.  I saw a small waterfall on the way thought that it was Qingshan. Lucky that I continued because I was mistaken.  You need to cross a few foot bridges before arriving at the waterfall.  The trail continues past the top of the waterfall but it is a bit more difficult.
