Wulai is easy to get to from the Xindian MRT, just take the 849 bus to the last stop.  Reasons to go are numerous; Old Street, authentic Atayal dishes, free Atayal Museum, free Forestry Museum, hot springs, cable car, scenery, waterfall and more.
