Recreational Shrimp Fishing

I have seen a couple of these recreational shrimp fishing places and wanted to experience it at least once.  My good fortune is that my friends invited me to join them.   This was on a Sunday afternoon and at that time it is good family entertainment.  I don’t know what hours that they  keep at this location but another one that I know of is open 24 hour a day.  I imagine that if you were bored on a Monday night at 2 am that shrimp fishing with a beer might be the most exciting thing that you could do.

It is simple, you rent the pole by the hour, bait is provided and you fish in the pool.  When you catch a shrimp you put it in a basket that is also provided.  When you are finished you rinse the shrimp in clean water, salt them and BBQ them at the provided stove.  Then sit down and enjoy the meal.
