My wife and I like Lion Head Mountain. Last year we went there twice and this year we went back again and spent 3 nights at the Chuanhuatang Temple. I made a blog post about it last year in case you want to learn more about it.
Looking for something different to do we ventured off to Xianshan. From the Chuanhuatang Temple there is a shuttle bus to the Lion Head Visitor Center and from the visitor center there is a bus to the Xian Temple which is on the Xian mountain. The hike was nice but the last part is a bit of a challenge, steep with ropes. The different thing about this hike was at the start they had hiking poles that you could use. Also near the top where it got hard and you had to use the ropes there were a pair of gloves there and a few more hiking poles that were public domain. It was really nice, never saw that before.
