The Taiwan Tea, Coffee and Wine Expo was held November 18-21 2016 at the Nangan Exhibition Center. I went there with no information, so I had zero expectations. The Expo was open to the public and the tickets were $200 (less than $7.00 USD). I got in free with an exhibitors pass, free is always good.
I was impressed with the size of the Expo as there were over 500 exhibitors and it was on 2 floors. When they use the word “wine” in Taiwan it means alcohol beverages so in addition to wine exhibitors there were whisky, beer, rum, etc, exhibitors.
This was an international expo so there were exhibitors from all over the world. I had fun in the Central American Coffee section talking with the people in Spanish.
Most of the exhibitors were giving away free samples. It doesn’t get much better than tasting gourmet coffee, tea, wine, craft beer and whisky all day long. I highly recommend this and have marked the dates on my calendar for next year, November 17-20, 2017. By the way I went on Monday which was great because there were less people and if you wanted to buy something the vendors were more motivated to sell because it was the last day.
