Sandiaoling Waterfall Trail

Sandiaoling can be reached with a direct train from Taipei Main Station. It is about a 1 hour trip and only costs $59 NTD about $2.00 USD. Sandiaoling is a small train station at the start (or finish) of the Pinxi line. There are a number of hiking opportunities in that area and it is very scenic. As you can guess the Sandiaoling Waterfall Trail has several waterfalls. I would recommend doing this hike early in the day and not alone just in case you get lost and need to back track. Although this may not be rated as a tough trail there is more too it than climbing steps.
