Bird Watching on Guanyin Mountain

I have climbed Guanyin Mountain a number of times on the Yinghan Trail to the summit. It seems to me that, on mountains, because of cloud and weather conditions that the view can be similar but almost never exactly the same. Sometimes the view can change dramatically in just a few minutes. Once I climbed this trail to the summit and the moment that I reached the top clouds rolled in and I had almost zero visibility. Yesterday was quite the opposite and I had one of the most clear views ever. It is usually very hard to see Linkou from that summit because of clouds and haze. But because I could see it I jumped at the chance of taking a photo even though it was far off in the distance. One thing that I noticed was that not only the day was more clear than usual but there was also much more bird and butterfly activity. I zoomed in on one of the birds and got a few good photos. I showed the photos to a worker in the Visitor Center and he identified the bird as a Crested Serpent Eagle.
Later when I got home I looked at the photo of Linkou and it looked as though the lens of my camera was a little dirty. The spots were not consistent from photo to photo so I blew the photo up and realized that those spots were most likely eagles. I circled them in red.
If you are into bird watching this may be the place that you want to be.
