The Taouyuan Minglun Three Saints Temple is located on Hutoushan Mountain near Hutoushan Mountain Park. The GPS coordinates are N:24 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds, E:121 degrees 13 minutes 55 seconds. The Temple was built in 1934 under Japanese rule but had undergone many changes. In 1957 the 3 saints and Guanyin Bodhisattva were enshrined and the temple was renamed Minglun Three Saints Temple. Most Taoist / mixed temples are very ornate and this one is no exception. So let me list the reasons why I think that this temple is special and deserves a look. 1. The view from the temple is good. 2. The statue of the Saint on the horse is unique. 3. The Dragon Fountain is “wow”.
The only thing that I don’t like about this temple is that it seems that they have something here extraordinarily beautiful but nowhere to get into a position to appreciate it.
I have a slide show combined with a short video that should provide you with enough information to decide if this is a place that you want to check out.
