EcoArk Pavillion

The EcoArk Pavillion is a few minute walk from the MRT Yuanshan Station in Yuanshan Expo Park. I have seen several exhibitions in the pavillion. It is a fascinating building made predominately out of plastic bottles, like 1.5 million of them. It was first built for the Flora Exposition in 2010. Looking back at some older videos it looked like there were doubts about whether it could be built and if it would last. Well it is 2014 and it is looking good. I took some photos today. There was just a small exhibit Reduce Reuse Recycle on the second floor. Access to the building was only from the second floor and limited to that one exhibit. I was however able to take enough photos to give you an idea of what it looks like even though the main exhibition area is empty. I also included a video with more information.
