Sushi Express

This is not a review of Sushi Express but if it was I would give them a thumbs up. Sushi Express is a franchise with a number of locations in the Taipei area. What I want to point out is not what they serve but how they serve it. From the photo and video you can see that the plates pass by your seat on a conveyor and you pick what you want. When you are finished they count your plates and give you the bill. The great thing about this method is that you don’t have to order. If you like what you see you just take it. You get the exact amount that you want.

When you can’t speak Chinese it is fun to go to a place like this, get exactly what you want to eat and not have to say a word. Of course if you go there with someone who is familiar with that style of food and can speak Chinese you can get special made dishes that are made on request.
