Bayan Hot Spring post 3

In December of 2014 I made my first blog post of the Bayan Hot Spring.  In that post I was sharing my excitement about finding it.  My second post in May of 2015 I made a video trying to capture the feeling and amazement of how the cold waterfall stream mixes with the hot waterfall stream creating pools of varying comfort levels from hot to cold. In this post I want to share another discovery.

I have always entered the hot spring on the same path.  Upon entering, it feels like a box canyon enclosed by 3 mountain walls with a cold water fall on the left and a hot waterfall on the right and pools in the middle.  This trip someone pointed out another trail.  To my disbelief it was straight up the hot water fall.  I checked it out and made it to the top without too much effort.  This trail leads to the main road.  I followed the stream of steam to near it’s source.  Seems like it is coming right out of the mountain.  I felt like I was on another planet.
