Sanmin Bat Cave

I read that this cave was discovered in 1968.  At that time it had bats but as it got popular with people the bats moved out.  This site has been covered in other blog posts and in Richard Saunders book Taipei Escapes 2.  It is really nice that people are sharing information about these great sites and as a result of their efforts I was motivated to make the trip.

I went alone but ended up meeting everyone there.  As beautiful as this place is I am surprised that so few people were there.  We took a group selfie photo…all 3 of us:)  Thanks to Amy Lin for that photo.
